| Well it's been a while but alot has happened recently. I've been doing senior project for the past few weeks over at Cranbrook Kingswood with my good friend Brantley Vosler. There's alot to catch up on but I suppose that of utmost importance is my new church. I started going to Genesis in Royal Oak! It's an awesome church and I really feel like God is there. My first week going was cool b/c Ty spoke and then alot of things transpired during that fateful Sunday evening which have really changed my life- especially for the upcoming summer. I basically realized that I need to be hanging out with people who will encourage me and push me towards God rather then just live my summer to have fun. I've been thinking about eternity lately and it's such an important thing to keep in mind. So often I forget about life after death and get wrapped up in the things of this world (which I realize is so cliche) but I guess if you're reading this, just think for a second about eternity and how you're living for that. Other noteworthy things include: prom; ebay-life; the upcoming openhouse; my pathetic car; the pistons; sailing; europe trip; and tennis (which I've grown a strong liking for). I suppose these are my thoughts. I apologize for the scrambled order in which they appear but I think I need to post more frequently so as to keep them organized. SENIORS 05' | | |
| It's not common knowledge but I actually invented this website and the idea of online journaling, I figured I'd retry it since the last formating update. Hence, the beginning of the chronicles on my NEW Xanga.
Let's see, I've heard that the NEW thing to do on my website is journal about personal trials, tribulations, etc. I'm not really into that- I'd rather talk to God when I pray or at worst, my priest; during confession. This doesn't really happen (confession) because Catholicism has never sat well with me.
I'm gonna try something else which has also had some popularity. I'm simply gonna journal and tell anyone who would like to know about the shallow and insignificant parts of my life. For example, once as a young adolescent I decided it would be proper for me to attain a tie rack...
As I looked into these rather simple devices, I came to the conclusion that I ought to try my hand at tie rack construction. I found a '2" by 4"' in my cluttered basement, drilled a series of neatly staggered holes, and inserted golf tees (which I typically have at hand). In fact, I remember inserting the first four tees which were in the front pocket of my pleated khaki shorts before ever searching my golf bag for materials. Needless to say the tie rack turned out nicely and I now can organize my diverse tie collection. | | |
